First Day!
Today we spent time getting to know each other. First, we played the m&m game and then people bingo. Then we went over my disclosure document (see previous post for links). I also showed students how to find this blog. Later we discussed what "science" really is and we decided it is a process used to answer questions and solve problems as well as a large body of knowledge compiled from the research of others. Last of all we took a classification unit pre-test .
Honors: Don't forget to sign up for an insect net and get a list of required projects. This term you will be making an insect collection and doing a 1 hour habitat observation.
Make Up Work: Read over my disclosure and have a parent or guardian email me to let me know they have read and understand it. Don't worry about the pre-test, I will excuse it.
