October 4/7

Bell Ringer:  Today students identified the parts of a leaf cross section for their bell ringer.
First, we reviewed leaf anatomy, finished our coloring and I showed students a game I made to help them review their leaf cross section http://www.purposegames.com/game/4b5f967b09.  Next, we took notes using this powerpoint. Then we went over basic leaf morphology and did a quick leaf lab (see me for makeup) and then students identified leaves using this dichotomous key.
