Next, we went to the computer lab with the counselors where students explored their interests and careers on the utahfutures.org website. This is a great website that may be used by anyone so feel free to check it out. Then we spent the remainder of the time reading the following articles "Why flowers smell. . ." and "Flowers shape themselves. . ." and students were to write in their journals examples of how the form of a flower is related to the function of attracting pollinators in the article. Students then were encouraged to play "Nova Pick the Pollinator" where they matched pollinators to different flowers. The remainder of the time was spent researching for their plant collections.
