We discussed how science is many things: it is a large body of knowledge that has been built up over the years and it is also a process for answering questions and solving problems. We also discussed that everyone can use scientific processes to solve problems and answer questions. Next, we went to the library to check out textbooks. Then we went over some science process vocabulary. Last of all, we did a little lab where we built whirly birds and competed as a class to build a whirly bird that falls the slowest.
Make Up: Bell Ringer, Science Process Vocabulary (get answers from a classmate or me before or after school), and make sure you get a textbook when you come next time,.
